A WELL

Solemn oaths, eternal promises, a well dug in peace
Touch this place, God promised Isaac, Abraham lived here
Our drama begins at the well, Promises must be acted upon

Christ will speak, are you walking with an open heart?
God wrote His promises to you, they aren’t in the land
They’re vested in the Living Lord, Jesus is at hand

All of us have wells of promise, Christ is looking for you
Waiting for you to camp with Him, His promises are true
Time is not an issue, eternity is our stage

When God’s hand is active, surrender is His child
Prepare for this moment, as Beersheva comes into view
A lifetime of faithfulness, begins with a promise and you

KEEP ON GOING

Keep on going-even without answers
We want life to fit-it doesn’t
We live in the unknown-facing twists and turns
Make up your mind-push ahead-it works-keep on going

What ever you face-do the next right thing
Don’t let emotions turn you aside-live it right side up
Life can pass you by-determine to live this day-in spite of
Return to the fray-let this setback go its way-keep on going

Grief can trip you up-feel it-own it-then stand up
In the face of the storm-one more step-one more step
The storm will pass-you must not-live it every day
We come this way but once-keep on going

Faith lives with the uncertainty life gives
Knowing that the One we know does know us-where we are
Confident that the good times will return
Life is always changing-give it a chance-keep on going

DON’T PANIC

A word to you-don’t panic
When life gets hold of you
Don’t panic
Christ has a hold on you-He has you in the palm of His hand

This is life for you-don’t panic
The Lord is with you-you are one of a kind
His love is assured-let the storm rage-don’t panic
He is alive for you-His resurrection paves our path

Remember you’re on mission-not in charge
Let go of what is troubling you-stand still
Even though the earth moves and shakes-your world changed forever-don’t panic
Christ is in charge-this hasn’t caught Him off guard-your life is important to Him

Whatever happens, however long it lasts
No matter the grief or strife-don’t panic
In face of the storm-hold on and believe
This too shall pass-Jesus is alive and well-You belong to Him-don’t panic

CHRIST THE KING

Know Him, Christ the King
Came to heal and save, the Unseen
Freed the slaves, from Satan’s hold
Christ the King, loves us all

In the village, in the town
Rich and poor, evil and wrong
He is seeking each to save, let Him have your heart
Christ the King, His love will reign

Everyone has sinned, including you and me
Our need is greater than we think, the unknown reigns
Then one day, the King will come
Evil gone, only Christ will reign

Stop your hurting, end your pain
Heal your troubles, in Jesus name
He is the One, we heard will come
Let Him have your heart, before this world is gone

JESUS IS COMING SOON

You need to know that Jesus is coming soon
He isn’t limited by our time, no hours, days and weeks
Since Christianity began the testimony has been
Be ready, Jesus is coming soon

What you do and can do is important
Our lives aren’t measured by anything but Jesus
Jesus is God’s everything and He created you
He has a purpose in life for you that only you can do

Think about your salvation
Who led you to Christ?
How many others have come looking for you?
Where would you be if that servant of God hadn’t come to you?

Do not waste time by complaining about your plight
Whether easy or light
Or heavy with no delight
God has a job for you and it counts with an eternal weight

Your job must be done now
It must get done before then
Then will be too late
Jesus is coming soon

Don’t short change your family
I’ve been there and done that
Lift them up to Christ, as though their life counted
It does and so does yours

Treasure your friends
They are a gift from God
Our best tool against discouragement
Stay close to friends, they will help you complete your task

You have exactly the right amount of time
There are no mistakes in Christ’s family
Don’t let the enemy get over on you, Jesus loves you
Jesus is coming soon

PILGRIM DAYS

God is at work in us, carrying us to His land
Chosen before time began, He showed His love for us
We have no excuse, He has clearly declared His purpose
Salvation is His gift, a relationship with Him our choice

On our Holy Land Pilgrimage, I choose to see and hear all I can
I will walk dusty roads, pick up rocks and listen
Let His Word come alive, THEY walked and worked here
Jesus will be my constant companion, Give me eyes and ears Lord

I will remember my family, they are anxious for my return
For two hundred and forty hours I will feast on Jesus and His Word
Sunrise is a time for prayer, sleep will be limited
Every site will be my chance, Lord speak to me

A NEW YEAR IS AHEAD

I belong to Jesus, He pours His grace on me
Filling me with peace, His glory shadows me

Looking to the future, it begins right now
Cutting off my evil, His life calls me now

Accepting all of His promises, encourages me to pray
Knowing Jesus better, I rise to meet each day

Called by Christ’s action, He came looking for me
I’m not a mistake; My life is filled with promise from the hand of God

Forgetting the past, I live for Him
Jesus is the reason I believe, He builds His freedom in me

I’m still suffering consequences, But they don’t stop my growth
I’m living like Jesus, The Father’s will my way

Saved to completion, I will live by His strength
Stand before my Savior, In His living line

I know He will use me, His Word declares my worth
Everyday with Jesus, I live to do His work

BORN TO DIE

Born to die, I think of Him
This day, His day to remember Him
Knowing that I’ve lived and failed
His love has made, is making, my life

Born to die, He chose to come
Giving up His wealth for me
Forgive me Lord, I live for one
Forgetting all the things you’ve done

Born to die, He knew me well
His pain, His walk, His loneliness
All of this was caused by me
My selfishness dictated the tree

Born to die, the Son of God
He walked the path all have trod
Living by the strength of God
He showed us each the way

Born to die, His love so great
It heals my hate
Calling me to bend my knee
Christ is all there is for me

Born to die, He chose the cross
So I could choose to not be lost
Asking Him to give me life
His joy, His peace dispels my strife

Born to die, Sing loud and clear
This day remember we are dear
The love of God has come our way
Celebrate Christ with joy today

THE JESUS STORY

Caesar decreed as the mouthpiece of God
All to their city, a census be done
Joseph and Mary unaware of their role
Began a journey that Micah foretold

The birth of Messiah
It was mean and rough
A cattle trough, a smelly cave
Damp and musky foreshadowing His grave

Calvary begin, His journey was long and poor
He looked like us, just weak human flesh
No power, no money, a victim of circumstance
But no, He was the Son of God and lived by His Father’s power

Fear not, rejoice, peace
Three powerful calls
The Son brought life
For any and all who believed that He was God

Choose today what you believe
The circumstances of your life filled with fear and pain
Or the Son of God
Who brings salvation to man

FOLLOW HIM (1 Peter 2:21-25)

Follow me, Christ said, simply, completely, without dread, eternity begins
A challenge, a call, a condemnation for those that stall, turning away to their own pursuits
Follow me, Jesus said, we choose, our actions tell our path, talk is not an action
Follow me, make me a priority, I am the center and will draw mankind to me
Nothing pleases Jesus and the Father like our obedience, a simply act of priority
God first and nothing else compares, following Christ is our legacy, His well done
Follow me in prayer His actions told, a man of prayer first, the Father’s will His goal
Prayer changes us, outfits us, makes us useable, prayer is indispensable, Pray, pray, pray
Follow me Jesus said, people always count, little children, the poor and widows first
People count with Christ, look at His life, He went to the cross and died for people
His every action spoke of the importance of the lost, the mean, the hated, God loves
Christ was pure of mind, pure of speech, pure in His actions
Follow me Jesus said, in purity and perseverance, endure to the end, your life counts
Follow me He said, so that all might know, eternity without me is forever apart
He heals broken hearts, sets the captive free, gives sight and light, salvation for you and me

Follow me every day, shout it to the roof tops so that all might hear
His footsteps are before us, Jesus said, Follow me.
