Hidden things
The world holds sway

Reaching out
To deal with me
Jesus gives
His love for me

Righteousness bequeathed

I seek His face

By heavenly host
God’s child

Praise the Lord
For His precious gift

To eternity

Grab the life

The pain
Circling me

Feeling fear’s
Deathly grasp
Angst in me
About what will be

Time, time
Slowly ticks
Yet the years
Speed swiftly by

Hanging out
With fears fold
All the folks
That I can see

We’ve prepared
Readied souls
Humanity howls
I can’t let go

Recognizing you

Father I have great need
Every single day
Sometimes I don’t even know
Until trouble comes my way

Hidden in the folds of life
Need is always here

I hold Your presence dear

Come and show me pathways
That protect and provide

Jesus lives in you

A choice rears its head
“Will I trust the Lord?”
Or walk in fear
Not knowing love
Or how much what I do
Is important to the Lord
He knows all I do

I will talk with Him each day
Letting Him speak to me
About the way I live
And what I am to give
Receiving strength to live
Enabling me to give
Jesus is God’s everything

Praise the Lord
Praise Him high and low
I give Him my life
He is Lord of all

Hurt and pain go away
I cry as others
I want my way
So I rail at inanimate things
Claiming life things

Jesus uses failure
To help us see
How evil things cannot please
How much God cares
For you and for me

Abundance is in the eye of the beholder
What I see as joy
Others see as pain
I wear Godly glasses
Going to Christ to see

Unbelievers all around us
Foolish in their claims
All beliefs recycle
Claiming God can’t win
And humanity is in control

That kind of thought brings laughter
To evils casting call
Man is so conceited
He thinks he can win
When everyday brings failure again

Evil seeks to blind us
Convince us we have no worth
That nothing cares and we don’t count
Get all that you can grab
Life ends on a slab

Jesus says you are special
He died just for you
The Lord of all is waiting
For you to stop and call
Lord I need help today

You become real

Wonder, awe and grace
Throughout the world I live
I don’t understand so much
But I know you live

I am so complex
Yet You are so divine
Loving me complete
Even with my breakable feet

What a plan for me
I knew it in my heart

I accept the life You give
I value what You do
